I’m thinking this is what all the swinging cats employ for stowing away their moon rocks. Having said that I’m reminded of a pair of cufflinks my father wore when I was a wee lad. I don’t think the glittering stones set in each were supposed to be moon rocks per se, but that’s what we called those shiny, gaudy faux gemstones. I just knew I’d be able to find something akin to them via a Google image search, but, alas, no. Anyways, had this cabinet been commercially available when I was still a wee lad I could imagine my dad having bought it.
Great story about your father’s cufflinks. :D The moon… rocks, what can I say? ;) I just know if I had this cabinet as a wee lass, I would’ve absolutely adored it.
