The only thing that can be said against Harris’s covers for the Ender Series is that they have nothing to do with the novels’ content. Harris’s book "Mass" is a must for fans of sf art. The top one I recognized instantly, but only because that cover is so distinctive to me... that distant horizon. It wasn't until I went back a few days later to look again that I realized, oh, that's the <i>Speaker for the Dead</i> cover! The art is just fantastic. Glad you enjoyed! You know, I adore Ender's Game/Speaker for the Dead, and I read both books over and over again when I was in middle school... But I never really <i>looked at</i> the cover illustrations before. I remember that the covers of my paperback editions were so crammed with giant text that the illustrative artwork didn't even register in my brain. Wow. These are beautiful. I can't believe that I just ignored those covers for so many years. Wow.
