I went out last night around 11:30, got a crick in my neck and saw three Perseids (two small, one streaky and bright.) I also got a good eye-helping of the Milky Way. This photo is better than my experience in a way, as it combines the two — but really, the experience is much better than looking at a photo. (Even if you only see three Perseids. I’m sure they all came out just as soon as I walked back inside!)

Stunning pic. I lived on Kauai from 1996 to 1999 and have great memories of laying out in the warm air near the ocean and watching the Perseids.
Steph and I watched from about 9:45 to 10:30 last night and saw about 15, including three that were mag -3 or brighter that left brief greenish trails.

Awesome, sounds like you had a good show! There’s so many tall pine trees around our place, I’m sure I just wasn’t getting enough sky to see more (and I didn’t stay out that long, maybe 20 min.) I may try again tonight, because they’ll still be out, just not as many as last night.
