Christmas is near, which means it’s time for this year’s new Hubble Holiday Cards! My favorite is still the baubles/ornaments card, but I definitely like this year’s new cards! :D Sadly, I never remember to plan to get any printed in time to actually give them out….

The aliens have landed, and they’ve sent back postcards from their journeys around Europe. That’s if you believe the work of Franco Brambilla, an artist who loves to add a sci-fi angle to old postcards he finds.

I guess you could call this a Two-Fer Tuesday? A creation of old-school collage (meaning, not digital), this card is so bizarre, it begged to be posted. So here you go.

I know I say I want every personalized notecard I feature here… but seriously. Do you know how much cooler these notecards would look if they said “Danielle”? MUCH, MUCH COOLER. For seriously!

Today is Black Friday and the frantic pistol-start of the Christmas shopping season. HubbleSite released their holiday cards earlier this week — this is the third year they’ve offered them — and you can download beautifully-designed files, ready for the print shop… or your printer! Each year I swear I’m going to have some of these printed up, and when the time comes I can never afford it. Shown above and below are this year’s new designs; 21 others to choose from!

I guess I’ve fallen in love with the idea of personalized space-themed notecards, because they keep catching my eye!

I love journals.

This rocket ship journal is A5 with approx.45 pages of white 90 gsm paper cut to size by hand. The covers are adorned with digital images printed on quality card, laminated for durability and superb gloss finish. Finished with hand stitched edges, for a personal touch.

I couldn’t let Valentine’s Day go by without showing off what my lovely husband found for me yesterday: Space Mates valentines by Punch Studio of Culver City, CA. (Sadly they only sell to retail businesses.) So cute, so retro, I’d love to know more about the artwork itself, whether it’s a reproduction or just something styled on the illustrations of old… extremely cute, at any rate! Happy Valentine’s Day!
