I found this when researching last Friday’s picspam, but it’s so spectacularly different that it needs a post of its own!
Silver Metalgami Dangling Rocket Ship and Ninja Star Pendant & Necklace
Three-dimensional silver origami rocket pendant blasting off to the stars on a Sterling Silver necklace. The handmade pendant is finely detailed and carefully crafted of fine silver (.999).
Since the sculptures are individually hand folded (not cast), each piece has slight variations.
(Emphasis mine, above. I just can’t believe it’s HAND FOLDED, AT THAT SIZE. Holy sharp eyes and precise fingers, Batman!!)
Space Origami

I loved origami as a kid (and occasionally as an adult, when I feel like getting frustrated lol), and found these two via Google:
- Rocket ship (pictured top)
- Paper Star (pictured right)
The second one does involve glue; some folders-of-paper prefer to avoid modifications beyond folding, so I thought I’d give you fair warning.
Here’s some books and kits and things, as well, for your space origami-folding pleasure.
- Planet Origami — Sadly this book is out of print, but I have it, and it’s great fun.
- Fantasy Cosmo Chiyogami Origami Paper — Completely awesome space-themed origami paper. It’s just friggin’ awesome.
- Space World Origami — This turned up in my Amazon search; absolutely no idea about it lol.
